I'm sure many of you are not familiar with the above "Not Me!" Monday banner. I follow a blogger "McMama", who came up with this neat little idea to confess the shameful things done during the past week. She's been doing it for a long time and has many, many followers. Today I'm joining the fun!
While cooking dinner last night and thinking my oldest daughter was playing with shoes, I did not discover her rubbing diaper rash cream all over her knees and thighs. Instead of washing her off right away, I did not grab my camera and take pictures first!
Since I always have something educational and neat for Isabelle to do every day, I certainly did not come up with the idea to make brownies while David was gone for 4 hours this weekend to waste some time. Then I would never, ever let Isabelle eat spoonfuls of brownie mix out of the bowl creating a very messy toddler and the possibility of contracting salmonella from the raw eggs.
While putting Isabelle to bed a few nights ago, I definitely did not ignore my daughter knocking on the door of her room after about five times of telling her it was night-night time. Then after the knocking stopped, I did not go in to check on her and found her sleeping next to the door with a diaper in her hands. I didn't feel like the worst mother in the world when i discovered that she had pooped, got a diaper, and tried to let me know by knocking on the door, and finally fell asleep waiting for her mommy(or daddy).
